Native place : Machli Shahar, Jaunpur, Utter Pradesh

Education : Primary Education, high school and intermediate from Jaunpur.
Arabic and Islamiat from Rampur.
Masters in Economics and Ph.D from Aligarh Muslim University.

Occupations : Retired as Professor in Economics after a long career in research and teaching in India and abroad

Attachment with Jamaat : Introduced to the Jamaat in Muslim Boarding House in Allahabad in 1949.

Cause of the attachment : Attached with the Jamaat as a result of the decision to participate in the struggle of life under the banner of Islam. Close friends like Dr. Md. Azeez, Hassan Kalbi and Ahmad Zakaria Alvi assisted in taking this basic resolution of the life. 

Responsibilities held : Member Central Advisory Council and Representative Council of the Jamaat besides Zonal Advisory Council of Utter Pradash.
