365. Mehmood Khan

Mehmood has 33 years of experience at Unilever in various International positions, with postings in India, Singapore, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. He retired as Global Leader of Innovation at Unilever London in 2009. Mehmood is President of the IIM Network in Europe and is a Managing Trustee of the Rasuli Kanwar Khan Trust, which is transforming lives in rural Mewat. He was nominated as Person of the Year 2009 by Forbes India and has development experience at IIMA, Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation, and Punjab Cooperatives.

Mehmood Khan is a unique individual with extensive global experience in managing within diverse circumstances, and has travelled across 70 countries in 5 continents. He is a natural leader with a vast track record of leading people and communities, and has development expertise in creating value by involving all stakeholders to bring rewards of prosperity and inclusive growth.

Mehmood Khan studied at HAU Hissar (1970-1975), where he gained a BSc Hons in Agriculture. He then went on to a do Post Graduate Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA).

Mehmood was born on 5th June 1954 in NaiNangla, Mewat, India. He has been married for 31 years and has two grown-up children. His wife works with him on all his development initiatives.
